We can tint auto glass and glazing in buildings whether commercial or domestic including conservatories. Tinting your windows reduces:

  1. Solar glare
  2. Heat and air conditioning costs, so increasing daytime comfort for your employees, family or even pets
  3. Ultraviolet (UV) light which can trigger skin cancer
  4. Fading,  so increasing the life of your fabrics and
  5. Privacy from prying neighbours or would be burglars.

Tinting or window films can enhance the appearance of your property and vehicles. Ask us for a free quote.

Vehicles whose windows are tinted should comply with the law which (within the UK) is explained in Vosa’s leaflet

If you are taking your vehicle abroad, the law may differ. We use films whose glues do not stay on the glass if the film is removed.

We can provide sun strips to front windscreens.

Buildings In commercial buildings tinting can raise employee productivity by increasing comfort.

In residential buildings nets and or curtain-liners are often provided but tinting should be more effective, cheaper and easier to keep clean.

Building Regulations require glazing in ‘Critical Locations’ to be safe ie to comply with BSEN 12600 to protect people from injury. The most likely locations for accidental impact, which could lead to cutting and piercing injuries, are in doors, door side panels and low level glass in walls and partitions. Compliance can be achieved by applying security film with a marker, usually much more cheaply than re-glazing.

Films providing a frosted appearance which can incorporate signage or which are like stained glass or act as mirrors are available. Special film is available for polycarbonate eg conservatory roofs.
